Profiled Steel, Stop Locks & Wear Plates – Kelly Bar Securing Systems

Stability You Can Build On

Safe, stable drilling starts with the right components. MIDAS supplies robust kelly bar securing systems for piling rigs across Bahrain.

📐 Profiled Steel – Precision Alignment

Profiled steel strips and brackets, including kelly bar drive keys, keep sections aligned and transfer torque smoothly between them.

✅ High-strength steel profiles for heavy torque loads
✅ Custom-cut to suit rig- and kelly-specific dimensions
✅ Ideal for kelly bar repair, rebuilding and refurbishment
✅ Ensures straight, accurate drilling alignment

🔒 Stop Locks – Fail-Safe Operator Protection

Heavy-duty stop locks and locking blocks hold kelly sections firmly in position, preventing sudden slippage during drilling.

✅ Fail-safe locking design for operator and site safety
✅ Hardened steel for repeated high-load engagement
✅ Secure crowd force transfer in interlocking kelly bars
✅ Reduces wear on kelly sections and rotary drives

🛡️ Wear Plates – Long-Lasting Abrasion Protection

Hard-faced wear plates shield kelly bars, rotary drives and drilling tools from abrasion at high-friction contact points.

✅ Hard-faced overlay for superior abrasion resistance
✅ Extends component life in sandy and rocky ground
✅ Easy replacement to minimise rig downtime
✅ Lowers long-term maintenance and repair costs
